Bro do you even lift
so it's getting colder out. I have hardwood floors on top of a slab, so the floor is just cold over the winter. I'll wear flip flops for as long as I can but eventually I need to keep my gigantic clown feet warm. but when I wear slippers, say a cheap pair from like Kohls or something equivalent, they keep my feet so warm that they end up sweating and then the slippers get icky after a while. is this normal or are there better slippers out there? these are the things that keep me up at night, please help!

Spray antiperspirent will stop the sweat. Works well prior to putting on boots too.

There is this really cool invention that helps with icky slippers. It is called a washing machine.....:yesnod:

I buy Walmart elcheapo brand slippers, usually 3 pairs at a time. They usually last 6 months, or 6 washings.

Got these at the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco.

Comfortable around the house (Tile everywhere but the bedrooms).

Perhaps there's another way to acquire them, but the logo is nice. [Didn't photograph well]

Local medical supply - socks with rubber tracks on the bottom to keep from slipping.

Slippers are a fairly recent discovery, not entirely certain why I never wore them before (cheap bastard I guess). I can't get them warm enough. My extremities are forever cold.

LOL, I didn't know they sold tabi socks, except in Japanese stores. The last time I saw some was when I was a kid. I think my grandmother used to wear them.
I'd grab them in the dark, half asleep, then spend 20 minutes trying to get them on the correct foot.

Slippers??? Come on dude. You're a grown man...

says the guy who dresses up in a racing suit and isn't racing....... :p

but yeah, I hear ya. socks aint enough and I'm not wearing my steel toe sht kickers walking around the house. so, 'something' inbetween.

We have stained concrete in our house, Im either barefoot or wearing socks, no slippers..Now granted Im in the southeast so it likely doesn't get as cold down here as it does for you up there.

And surprisingly the concrete doesn't get all that cold, once the house is warm the concrete retains the heat pretty well. I was surprised!

I have some of these, they've lasted a long time:

with socks I'm good for all winter.

But now I'm not sure how I got them: at THAT price there's no way I bought those myself.

That's the pair I wear, also received as a gift (8 years ago). I love 'em. Guaranteed forever.

Put wadded-up newspaper in the slippers when you're not wearing them and they'll dry between uses.

I wear white socks. My wife checks the bottom of them regularly to determine when it's time to clean the floors.
