EVERYBODY was out flying today

@eman1200 not sure I've asked... what's the rotation speed in the laundry basket?

Dirty and Clean... heehee

Not sure if it was due to the front coming through tonight or what, but 122.7, 122.8, 123.0 and 123.05 were lit up today.

Any of you folks up that way ever paint ALL the aluminum on the plane? ;)
Just askin' :D

I got a whole 0.6 in today, but that's better than 0.0

I flew too! In the back of a SWA Vegas to Birmingham direct flight. 3 hours!

dunno, I have to rely on chicks to do my laundry. you know, cause chicks do laundry.

which might explain why my clothes are always dirty.

What did you fly, with the Mooney out of commission?
I rented *gasp* a 172 and did a quick checkout ride so I can rent from them later if I want. I'm addicted to this flying thing.

They have a super cub at the FBO I went to. I might just get my tail wheel endorsement while the mooney is out of commission, though I have access to a 162 (also out of commission right now) and a 150, which I think I'm comfortable flying now. The 150 has been a hangar queen for the last half decade, getting annuals, but not flying. I've been waiting for the new owner to get a few hours on it and work out all the kinks before I go up in it.

You'd best avoid the Cub. ;)

The front. If it looks turbulent— it is. (Pretty mild this time.)

.4 today; .9 yesterday. All in the Luscombe. Simply couldn't be better than that.

1.9 with a friend. He was a pretty steady hand at the controls once he stopped with the death grip. When we transitioned the neighboring airport, it sounded like they had 5 planes in the pattern. Our airport was busy too, but no waiting; easy spacing.

First time pre-heating a plane on my own.

The air was bouncier than forecasted.

Managed to get 1.2 in the RV-4 today. Beautiful day to fly here (West Tennessee) too.

Nice! First time I've seen your Traveler. Gotta get the enclosed anti collision light STC. Think it was only like $300 when I got it on mine. Looks better and you get another 1/2 kt out of it.

Tomorrow for me. The brake parts came in today's mail, so tomorrow's a brake job/wheel bearing repack in the morning and an afternoon flight. :)

Trying to outrun the front.... Didn't work out

I didn’t make it up today. I had a plane reserved. I had a place to go. I also had one monster sized headache that lasted most of the day. It really sucked because it was a beautiful day to fly.

Shouldn't get trashed the night before if you can't hang with the big dogs, 'Dog. :cheerswine:

I didn’t get up today either. Used the day to catch up on a few things. This coming week looks good, weather wise, so I’ll make up for it. :)

Cleaned the snow off the plane and added isopropyl alcohol to the fuel. Preheat engine and full power run up tomorrow to see if fuel pressure comes up...:(
