This morning I cut up some leftover strip steak, warmed it up, then poured the scrambled egg mix over it. It was good.

Forgot to fold the omelet again?

That's what I thought as well.

But I'll try it and see if my wife goes into a panic or not.

Can someone tell me how to explain to my wife that this is healthier than regular pizza and it won't shut off my heart on the first bite..???

If you haven’t learned how to lie to your wife by now....

Unfortunately she knows me too well....She will just look at it and announce that I cannot eat that ever, no matter what I tell her. I need someone to lie for me because she will believe that person....:lol::lol:

Okay, yer gonna hafta use eggbeaters, drop the cheesensausage, and put some kale on it. Later ya might be able to put some chicken or turkey sausage on it with some cottage cheese.

Yucko....!!!! Might as well drop a couple eggs, shell and all, into a juicer....

you gotta eat a real meal while you're out of the house

Well, now that they finally admit that cholesterol you eat winds up in the hopper, and that it's carbohydrates that raise triglycerides, you might have a shot.

Oh yes yes yes. I eat a personal pizza my blood sugar soars over 150. I eat something like that (eggs, cheese and sausage?) my blood sugar barely breaks 100.

The evidence is right before my eyes which is unhealthier.

My wife was less than impressed the other day when I opened a can of spam & made a spectacular spam & cheese omelet.

She just doesn't understand real man food.

I picked up a can of spam recently and it was much saltier than I remember; is the low sodium version better?

I had no choice but to make a variation on Rich's theme this morning, except with chorizo and cheddar and salsa. I had barely eaten a bite before my wife asked me to make her one as well.

Yes, the low sodium version is much better. I bought it at Costco in a multi-pack. I think I have 48 of the 50 pack left.

I figured if my healthy-eating wife ran us out of meat...I'd always have the Spam.
