I think they'll stick with the A-29 since it was already chosen for Afghanistan. If they do, I'm sure Hawker/Beech or whatever their current name is, will throw a fit again.
 
I'm just glad they finally figured out throwing billion dollar weapon systems at hundred dollar weapons systems isn't the best idea.

Didn't take as long in Viet Nam. Used many WW2 era recips for ground attack. But the wheel has to be reinvented constantly. Just look at the military pilot shortage reasons, same as they've always been.

Afghan AF flys it and trains at Moody AFB in Ga. Article appears to imply the AF may go with this jet, and quickly, if that's even possible in the procurement business.
