It is so annoying to see the engine readouts shaking like an old TV as the tire hit bumps.

Drink a couple shots, not even noticeable.

Stay on the center line? It's usually smoother than the edges.

Is this seriously an issue? For some reason I get the notion that my leg is being pulled.

Just replaced all 4 of my isolation mounts, expecting the scotch and soda to have nary a ripple from now on.

What Ron said - stay just off the center line.

Also, after checking for issues, look out the window during takeoff, I assure you that you won't see your engine instruments.

Shaking is common on many aircraft from the citation to the airbus. I perfer the old gauges and see no advantage to the computerized

Close your eyes and apply full power. Within 60 seconds the shaking will stop. :D

Or just a few inches to one side if your runway has centerline lights.
My primary instructor used to accuse me of taxiing by Braille, as I would head down the runway hitting...each..and...every one of the reflectors on the line.

Dynamic prop balancing, and tire balancing? Maybe service the worn out crap on the nose strut and a new shimmy dampener? ;)

If anyone is considering prop balancing....DO IT!

We have had it done on both club aircraft. Cost is reasonable and the results are a quieter and smoother flying airplane.
