I've read this forum and every once in a while someone will refer to their plane with a pet name.

I call my Cherokee Sabrina. My wife calls it Broomhilda.

Beech B-19 Sport, I call it "the Sport or the Beech", my wife calls it "the Baby Beech"..

Dirty bird, can't remember the last time we washed it...

Xena. She is a Piper warrior.

Sort of like Xena the warrior princess.

Candy. As seen/mentioned in other threads.

The story is my sister-in-law said the wheel pants look like candy corns. [Hey, today is Halloween!]

The funny part is that my dogs have been named Dallas, Haley, Amber, Ashley, and now Autumn. All good stripper names.

I told a friend my plane's name and she said "Good God, you even gave your plane a stripper name?"

It hadn't occurred to me. But it is what it is.

"the plane". Yeah, I know, we get crazy down here.

Disclaimer, I don't actually own the whole airplane. I figure I own the nut that holds the left main gear on. But if it were all mine, it would still be "the plane".

My Mistress... Juliet... she is 4364J so it is fitting.... when people ask to see a photo of the plane, I show them one with my wife standing next to her... and say " here is my wife and my Mistress"..

I knew a guy about 20 years ago who had a 210 that he named Miss Knotty.

The Waco is named ‘Woody’.

The Beech 18 is ‘Walter the Twin Beast’

Just seemed to fit. I never named any of my earlier airplanes.

Wow. No "Songbird" in this group? Am I the only one who had a crush on Penny?

Forgot: An old friend many years ago named his Skyhawk “The Blue Bellied Money Sucker”. Like a bird. LOL.
