What airplane is overall better Bonanzas or Mooneys

They're made for Mooneys. Can also buy / find drawings and have a set made; there are three different versions, 1-1/2", 3" and 6" lengths for various sized pilots.

Can't help you with the Bo, don't know any short Bo owners . . . But I know Mooney owners from 5'2" to 6'9".

Didn't see that Indiana Jones movie? Make your own!

How long did that ground you for?

2 1/2 months it was a very busy shop.
---------------------------------------------

Now guys don't get me wrong. My Cirrus was the best airplane I have ever flown, I'm not complaining here. I have flown Pipers and Cessnas too just starting out but the Cirrus was the most comfortable and fun to fly. I'm not a brand loyalist and a friend of mine just purchased a Mooney Ovation 2....Awesome airplane. His useful load is right around 1,000 pounds not including fuel. I went up with him and I took the controls in the right seat. It feels like a very sturdy airplane, a little more heavy at the controls than the Cirrus but very fun to fly. It feels like I'm taking off from the ground because you sit pretty low, not hard to land either against popular belief as long as you get your speeds nailed down it's pretty simple really.

Now I went to a sales guy on the east coast of Florida to do some research on a Bonanza and I did a test flight special airplane as well. Mooney's are faster but Bonanzas are a bit more comfortable and I was able to have better visibility around the cockpit. The A36 with Osborne tips had a useful at 1300 pounds so I can bring an extra buddy with me or carry extra fuel for the trip which is always nice. I just need to pick one and I can't really decide because it's a trade off.

I just want to update POA:

I'm closing on a Mooney Acclaim M20TN Today and I'm really excited about the purchase got a REALLY good deal on it. I gave up the training wheels! I have to create an account on Mooney space when time permits.

Thanks for the advice!

I LOVE Acclaims, but I thought you wanted useful load?
