Help shop for (low) tech thing.

I want to install an outdoor light on a pole between two houses which are 200-300' apart. There is 120v power on the pole.
I want to be able to turn the light on and off, from either of the two houses.
The switches to turn the light on and off will be wireless and mounted on the exterior walls.
The light will be incandescent and total <400W.

Looks like this has a range of up to about 140 feet. Might work if the pole is in between the two house or if any possibility of using two receivers and moving them close to the houses.

Been working on something like this.. Using openhab for home automation..Could stick a zwave or wifi switch on the light and control it with rules

i'm also looking at this product to make an interface to my washing machine to announce via voice that it's done doing its thing.. I hate to imagine the time's we've re-run loads because we forgot they were in the washer

There's more going on there than just letting a load of freshly laundered clothes set...particularly in a dry climate like Vegas...

My washing machine manual calls for cleaning once a month with bleach. It turns out monthly isn't needed but once a year is about right.

Hmmm it's a relatively new (3 months old) machine.. Might have to get some of those affresh tablets or something

Ahhh, when my machine was new it got a couple cleanings on the monthly sched and has been fine since with an annual clean.
