Just curious who is everyone's favorite football team. I am assuming the majority of folks on this site are Cowboy fans since it seems like a very intelligent group of folks frequent this site. But just wanted to do a quick poll to confirm.

Go Cowboys. And enjoy the season.

Nobody in their right mind supports that team from Irving with the whacked out owner. The cowboys can go just as long as they don't come back.

I just googled "America's team" and got warm fuzzies.

Let's go *Dallas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*Arlington

IF you want to do a poll, there's a button for that. You can still add one to this thread. Should allow for enough choices.

[How many NFL teams are there?]

Taking my wife, dad and step-mom to their first Packers game at Lambeau Field this Sunday. GoPackGo.

Not much into college football - there are competitive games all over, every weekend, but I don't follow a single team.

NFL - Chiefs are the local team and they play @ New England tonight.

COWBOYS!!

Though the NFL is souring me with the whole Zeke thing.....

Yeah, I give 'em about a 40% chance of pulling out a win in Columbus. They've got some talented guys, but The Shoe is a tough place to grab a win.

It's hard not to pull for TU, they're the smallest D1 school in the nation! I'm okay with any of the OK schools as long as it's not those red-headed step-children in Stillwater!

I'll give them a 50/50 shot. Dang right, it'll be tough to win there. I hope it's a monster of a ball game, whatever the outcome. In a game like that, even the loser doesn't lose much if it's a close game.

My brother played DT for the Golden Hurricane ('96-'00), so I have a soft spot for them. I've watched more football in Skelly Stadium than any other university. I was hoping for a better showing against the Cowgirls, but they graduated their best talent from last year. Brewer is back, but he's got to have an O-line to make anything happen. Dane Evans shoes are hard to fill.

Joking aside, O-State looks like they'll be pretty darn good. I still don't like 'em.

Full-disclosure, my wife is a Poke U grad, so I really don't harbor too much hate for them. It's really a dislike for just about any shade of orange, especially burnt! Wife proudly wears crimson on game days though since she worked for OU after college for several years.

It's actually Arlington now.

Feeling a little deflated?

Lol. Almost.

I just happened to be reading this thread last night when the wife's channel surfing landed on the pregame festivities. Though I am not a huge sports fan, I do enjoy the NFL at times and NE is one of the teams I like to watch so I just had to reply to the Chiefs question. All in good fun.

I'm not one of those folks whose emotional well being is affected by whether a team wins or loses. To me it's like watching a movie. It's entertainment.

Obviously the Saints, and all their troubles, are closest to my heart, but I don't really root for any particular team. I do however root against certain ones... like the Patriots. Last night was a good night :D

While I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Pats go down last night, I'm not harboring any illusions of a bad Patriots season. Like him or hate him, Belichick is a genius and will have this fixed within a game or two. Unfortunately.
