I'm looking for some help and guidance regarding any WWI Airplane Flying Clubs. More specifically, I belong to a club that is looking for a "fly-over" by WWI aircraft, in the year 2021, in the DC area and am starting to reach out to folks that might be able to help or steer me in the right direction of some folks to contact regarding this. Any ideas???

There are no real active 'clubs' on the east coast but the only real flyable collections of WWI aircraft in that neck of the woods are Old Rhinebeck in New York and the Military Aviation Museum in Virginia Beach.

Culpepper Flying Circus is near D.C., but I don't believe they have any WWI aircraft. Mostly golden age barnstorming biplanes plus WWII Stearmans.

Do you think most people on the ground, other than us hard core PoAers will know the difference? ;)

If it's red it must be the Baron's. If it has a red dot with a blue circle roundel it must be Brit. And if it surrenders it must be French. :D

Haha if they saw what some of those WWI birds look like and fly they would!

I will start reaching out to all of the recommendations. Thanks so very much
