18th Cessna 172 to come off the assembly line. Gorgeous inside and out. Only 2500TT airframe. It should be in a museum or only flown to Airshows. New interior, Garmin 250xl Navcom, transponder, 4 place intercom w/dual push to talk. In annual all cylinders 70 and above, holds 35 psi oil pressure at 650 RPM Hot 50 psi at 2500rpm. I bought it as a time builder and light backcountry but it's too nice to beat it up. It flys like I imagine a brand new 1956 would fly. $34k. Located in Boise Id.

Maybe trade for IFR timebuilder or backcountry plane.

Don't want to think about what it takes to keep that thing shiny. Good luck with the sale.
 
Ive found keeping it in the hangar and not touching it is the easiest way to keep it shiny. ;)
 
Did the checkride with the '58 manual go okay?
Yeah it worked great the plane it was used for has done 3 checkrides with the POH you provided. Thanks again.
Whats interesting is this plane has a original 1956 POH in it and it is the same except for the cover.
 
Can’t speak for this particular one, but I can plug the year, make and model. I bought a ‘56 to finish my private cert. I flew the hell out of it on a few vacations and around for fun. These things are easy to fly and land. Johnson bar flaps that go to 40 degrees are awesome. It’s very forgiving and maintenance costs are pretty low.

I left for a deployment and decided to get something that met my mission of long distance flights a bit better so I opted for a Mooney but for the average recreational flyer these things are great.
 
If it wanted a 172- THAT would be the one! Sweet!

Johnson bar flaps in a Cessna? Is the "bar" overhead? How many years did they do that?
 
Awesome looking bird. The straight tails are the best! Johnson bar flaps is where its at. Much prefer them over electric...
