...or posted, rather...regarding some website where they buy monitors/computers/laptops for their business. If I recall, it was some sort of refurbishment or reseller or something. Does anyone know the link or have any opinions on the quality of their stuff?

I'm looking into buying a computer for my home-business, and don't want to/can't shell out the $800-$1000 for a computer.

Or, if anyone has any other suggestions, I'm open to that as well.

Thanks in advance!

I have bought towers from both sites. Pick one with a warranty.
I had 1 fail and they just shipped me a new harddrive no questions asked.

Thanks for the info. I just lost a really good computer and shopping for another one but don't want to spend the money.

I bought an all-in-one to run our crew scheduler at Oshkosh this year. It's an HP and goes for $350. Works for most stuff (I was even running MySQL in the background on it).

I'm looking for something that'll run autoCAD and/or other modeling/calculation programs.

Do yourself a favor and build yourself a desktop, you can do it in your budget, and it will be light years better than any pre built you could buy. A 10 year old could do this, it's very simple.

Pcpartpicker is a great site to help you choose components and build a system. It will compare prices and show you who has the cheapest prices on that specific component
