OSH - Where y'at?!

Then the live stream for me didn't work that well. Could be my internet speed.

Hahaha yesterday I thought I'd stop by the GAS safety center to meet @Brad Z. I opened the door to walk in and bam a big forum going on. I felt like I walked right up front. I closed the door and backed out. Haha maybe later. Only person I've said hello to so far was @Jay Honeck.
There's a big hangar door on the side of the building facing the flightline. You hit the back door into the forum area. I'm around front (except right at this moment as I scarf down my lunch).

Ah gotcha ...At the seaplane base right now. I'll try and stop by later then!

My husband watched it :)

He didn't go with you?

I was late getting the flying bug (44 now 54). I've had interfering work problems EVERY year and have yet to get there. The friend that got me flying has been nearly every year. I thought this year would be it. I love the old warbirds and this year's event appears to really be stacked.

As a first timer, keep posting ... it's exciting for those of us still hoping to get there.

Was there for breakfast this morning. Didn't see this until now.

In other news, is it really that important that folks depart during the thunderstorm?
We got out just In the nick of time. The big birds were all bitching about the p-39 that got stuck on the taxiway, blocking them from leaving before the storm arrived. (On 9-27). The conga line in the grass just kept moving on past it.

Rehydrating at the SOS tent!

@danhagan - No, this isn't really his scene. Hes more of a boat and train person. Hope to drag him here next year.

I'm going to need at least one twin to leave after the show today. Still says GA parking closed to twins. Was hoping to get up there when they open in the morning.

There were at least 7 open spots in the 2 twin rows near me in the north 40.

At Mineral Point about 2 hours south. I'll be at the museum Thursday morning about 10-10:30 at the Apollo exhibit, or if closed, at the Voyager exhibit. Sandy gray hair, blue shirt, tan pants, and sandals. Gotta be at a lunch at 11:15 but would love to meet any of y'all. Cyndi will probably be wearing a black dress with sparkly sandals OR a lavender top & jeans.

Jim

We made it... North 40 Row 515... nice and close to the shower house!

For those still at osh. I just want to encourage you to stay right there. You should know, if you work, that it is reallyreallyreallyreally hard to be back in the saddle after being at osh. Save yourselves; stay there.

Just made it in to Madison...spending the night here before heading over tomorrow.

Anyone know if they're letting planes in to the GA parking yet? When I checked before I left this morning it was closed to new arrivals due to 'ground saturation'. The ATIS now only says the airport is closed due to the air show.

I plan on landing about 7:15 tomorrow morning. I'll try to go easy on the thrust reversers for those of you trying to sleep! :) (If the Mustangs haven't woken you up already.)

Didn't fly in so great weather except one morning. Got to meet a few folks and a great bunch at the HOPS party, and hope to meet more of you.
Here are some pics for you to enjoy, but all I have is my point and shoot.
