Runway 5K

I would be if we were staying that long. I will, however, be doing a bunch of running while there. I've got to run 20 miles on Sunday morning...

I was just looking at routes on Strava. Looks like there is an Oshkosh half marathon route. You could tack on 7 to get your 20.
@Cajun_Flyer I'm not staying that long either. I would otherwise.

In the past I've just run through the neighborhoods north of the airport, pretty easy grid streets and hard to get lost. But this is the first year we'll be there on a weekend and I'll need to get in a LONG run. Thanks for the Strava suggestion.

After a week of walking the grounds I don't think my knees could handle a 5k. I will be leaving Thursday anyway.

Yeah, I don't get in until Tuesday morning, so I'll still have a tiny bit of energy left by then. Well, hopefully.

I try to get one long run in a week. I'll check out the half route on Strava.

I'm thinking runway 27 on Saturday... Southwest departure.

God only gives you a certain number of heartbeats are you really sure you want to waste them on running? :)

I'm gonna bet you'll be wiped out after your first Airventure. Much excitement, socializing, and walking. But you're young. Be sure to let us know if you did or didn't. More power to you.

Good news. 65 degrees in Wisconsin is much easier than 100 in Texas. Now where's the 5K tent?

Looks like anyone who has not yet registered can do so before the race kicks off (7 am, Saturday) at the Ultralight Barn.
