LOL... sometimes you just need your buddy to follow you over to your airport and help you evict the crazy lady from your hangar... I guess.

Don't do drugs, kids... hahaha.

I am glad I am not in this part of Ohio. LOL I am in the normal part.

...And I did not know we have bush planes here. Going to post this video to "Ohio Pilots" on FB.

Somebody ought to sell tickets.

Uh... how did that woman end up in that guy's hangar? Not just crazy. She was bat... well, you know.

I'm going to guess that she gave it up to the guy one night to move in to the hangar. Guys do stupid sh-t to get laid, and crazy chicks are usually freaks in bed.....not that I would know.

looks like a good candidate for a PoA mod HIYOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooo. I KID, I KID, besides, we got Te*.

What you talking about? Most of Ohio is just like her.

Gotta tell ya, as a cop Ive talk to a BUNCHA people like that. Its pretty entertaining some of the stuff they cam come up with.
Been there, done that. I always got a kick out of the people that would call the police concerning someone like this. They call, then think to themselves, "I'm helping". Of course, when you arrest someone like this because they won't leave, etc, that same person who called now becomes enraged saying that was not why they called. Little did they realize that police have two choices in this situation: A) talk nice and get them to move along, B) talking fails, so arrest them. That's it, there is no other option. I think the caller wants the police to give them a hug, put them in their personal car, and take them home.

Turns out this woman used to live in my town and some mutual friends are worried about her mental state. We're trying to track her down to see if this was an off day or if an intervention is required. So, in the unlikely event that someone else runs across her please PM me so we can get her in touch with her mother. Or, if you are conspiracy minded yourself and don't want to put me in touch, just tell her that her mom is looking for her. As mentioned in the video, Dianna seems to have abandoned her cell phone.

As evidenced by the state of her Ford Focus in the video vs the website, I'd say she probably started off eclectic, but with a purpose... to just unbalanced and aimless.

Wow. Talk about a random connection... small world.

Agreed. Rwellner98, seems the video was just published on May 17th, so she may not be far from that area it was filmed in, or may be near the airport she said she was going to. Hopefully your friends and perform a successful intervention.

But do either of them know Kevin Bacon?

I just learned there is some movie or TV show someone made that is supposedly about some woman obsessed with Kevin Bacon. LOL. Came up as "Recommended for you" on Amazon or something. Obviously their algorithm sucks donkey scrotum. Not going to be watching that.

Yeah, super random. I don't know if you remember, but I live in a small town in central Mexico. So that she used to live here is even more impressive a small world story than if we had common friends in Michigan or something.

And, to make the world even smaller. Greg (the producer of the Crazytown video that started this thread) is a friend of mine and I've flown my Maule into his farm in Ohio. Below is a video we made of my visit.

Yeah it seems she used to be a pretty accomplished children's book author at one time.

Rwellner98.....she said she wanted to get to Barber Field. Forrest Barber is the head honcho at the Taylorcraft forums (descendant of the original T-Cart folks). Barber Field, his private airport, is over toward Alliance, Ohio. Might be a place to start looking for her. Can't find his e-mail right now, but it's probably on the taylorcraft.org site. Good luck!

Jim

I didn't catch that. Good tip!

Yeah I knew where "home" was for you but wasn't comfortable adding that info in a forum to my response. Figured you might mention it but left that part up to you.

Well, I hope those who care about her find her and aren't disappointed if she doesn't want help. Or it goes the other better way.

BTDT. Got the t-shirt. Humans with broken brains or addictions can be such a PITA. But if we know them, we try to help. Sometimes it doesn't work out well. Sometimes it does. I'm sure you know this, but for folks who've never dealt with an addict, it's sometimes a shock when people reach out and they don't want help.

Saw your posts that you were wandering around in the States recently and sorry we won't see ya at OSH this year! Maybe we'll cross paths at an airport somewhere, sometime.

I'm still suffering from Kritchlow's post.

It'd be like having sex with a belt sander.

Yeah, like this crazy goofball kid that wants to fly around with "airplane guns" and go pick up underage Messican wimminz to fly them home for a weekend. That kind of crazy makes adults' heads hurt.

Ya, hate that guy too. :ihih:

But I noticed you didn't say "no"....
A belt sander can be better than no sander at all at times...

Any port in a storm as they say....

Same. Had a guy a few years back. I was near a neighboring jurisdiction when I heard them get called to a suspicious male on an on-ramp. I told them I'd get it since I was close. Guy was reportedly yelling at/flipping off cars while hitchhiking. I pull up and something's off. Guy is nicely dressed, decent luggage at his side. He tells me that people were calling him names. I go into my bit about how some people like to kick a guy while he's down, etc. He replies "that's reasonable, but that's not what's going on." It is at this point that, despite having many years on, I revert to rookie status and ask "oh? What is it, then?"

Major fail.

He proceeds to explain how his family is one of the richest in the world. They own most of the oil in Saudi Arabia. The US govt apparently wants the oil, but he is the sole heir. So the govt concocted this plan to have what appeared to be random citizens antagonize him, so that he will fight back, then the "citizens" can claim self-defense and eliminate him so the govt can take the oil...
