Yeaaaas... Adam... I'm planning on flying Big Red to the Fly-B-Q. ;)

--- sigh...

Why are all the really good planes that fit my checkboxes becoming available when I'm not ready to be a sole owner?? :(:(

You wouldn't regret being sole owner of this!

Day-um son, that's a nice Mooney.

Disclaimer: The following may or may not be true, you be your own judge... but...

Kilo Delta == "Killer Deal"? :) hahaha...

Looks like a really nice plane. Good luck. I'd love to take it off your hands, but without a Commercial, IFR and ability to land on the dark side of the moon, I probably couldn't (shouldn't) get insurance. :)

That is a really, really nice Mooney. Good luck with the sale, and the 195!

Ahh, I wish. My darling just spotted a house for sale in Rhinebeck, NY (nearish to KPOU) that she said "I'd buy that house." And gears turned - house near KPOU, a Mooney ; alas I also need my job and love my current community.

But I'll keep hoping that day will come.

Logs are now posted on the website... finally!

Look for a price drop post-OSH (when I get back)

Wow, that's a beauty! I'm in the market for a Piper Dakota now. I'd love the Mooney, but probably couldn't get affordable insurance. No complex or HP at the moment. Will need the HP for the Dakota, though. Besides, I'm so used to how the Piper Archer flies, moving to a Dakota would be nothing. Not so sure about a Mooney, though.

On another note, I live in Fishkill. Whatever plane I buy, I plan on hangering it at KPOU. How much do they charge for a hangar?

Last couple of years, I've been renting the large (2-plane) hangars. IIRC, the single plane hangars are $350 or $375/mo

I just got off the phone with them and they quoted me $440/month. Is the $350/$375 a grandfathered in price?

...or poor memory. I'm not at home this week, so can't pull out any old bills.

Nice Womb Chair. Those things feel amazing. I'd love to get one someday.
Yup! That's actually mine from my family room. One of my favorite chairs. Really missed it while it was being used for staging that house. (kitchen set in those pics was from my house too... and used a folding table)

I was hoping you weren't going to say it was just used for staging the house. I did notice the table and chairs as well. I like you choices both in airplanes and furniture.

We recently got our first "real" furniture, a Tulip Table and Molded Plastic Eames Chairs. We love them so far.

...and here it is...
$119,000
Nice looking plane. If I was in the market for a medium body mooney, this would be right up at the top of the list.

Good luck! Should be a nice companion in someone's hangar.

It is a nice plane, but isn't this a bad time of year to sell, you have to wait until next spring?

Well.. that price drop brought everyone out of the woodwork. Had 9 buyers frothing at the mouth to get their hands on her. She went to a Mooney shop for pre-buy and is now SOLD. <wipes tear>

Congrats. Happiest day of an airplane owners life. You'll miss her, that's one fast ship. I know you like your 195, but some day you'll be in the umpteenth hour of your trip and say "I miss that Mooney".

The 195 is no slouch. She trues out at about 142kts. So, only adds about 8 minutes per hour. Really, not noticeable for 95% of what I fly (2-4hr radius).
