My Solo at F70 2005

Nice! Always fun to relive the memories, and it jogs our memories of the first solo too. F70 is my favorite breakfast hop from Cable...about a half hour each way.

Went there on MLK day and it was reeeaaally busy. I had to peel off on a couple attempts to enter the 45, and finally entered right base to 36.

KHMT Has a good place for breakfast also. F70 does see alot of action.

Looks like a smooth solo. That's awesome you have ground video.

10% of my PPL flight training dollars were spent on the restaurant at F70... Yeah let's fly and do ground at the restaurant they said, it will be fun they said.

Not sure if the right spot for this.....

It was a great day! Little bit of a long video of exhilaration, 3 touch and go's and a Huge sigh of relief!

Nice. I remember that plane. It was a bucket-o-bolts. The plastic panel overlay fell off on takeoff on day when I was in it. Eventually got sold overseas. Who was your instructor?

Sure there is. Medical Topics? Cleared for the Approach? But there are several good choices, and this forum is one of them.

Oh you are absolutely correct. How could I have been so mistaken? Thank you so very much for correcting me, o' wise sage!

Sweet!
Now wipe the grin off your face. Wait, no, not yet. Keep it on for a while. :)

Advice: remember to turn off the strobes once clear of the runway. It should be part of post-landing checklist. ;)

But most of all: go fly again!!

Unfortunately, I can't remember his name, His signature in my log book is Un legible but, i have his CFI number. His first name starts with a T and his second starts with a R. Come to think of it, I think his first name Terrance maybe?
