Our company is expanding and we need someone to fill out a spot flying high-high-performance, single-engine pistons with the opportunity to move into turboprop equipment.

Need to be:
Based in Atlanta
High performance & complex endorsed
Prepared for a busy schedule

Preferred:
Bonanza & Cirrus experience

PM me, please.

you should hold onto that job for about a month then take a 250hr fresh commercial pilot willing to work a busy schedule. Course I also don't have any bo or cirri time but I can dream cant I.

Sounds like good experience for commercial pilots. Hope you guys find someone.

Sounds like a cool opertunity, you should post this over in beech talk and backcountry pilot too

Whats the work....charter passenger/freight or nighttime drug/gun running?

I would love that job (and I sure could qualify) but I already live "in the middle of a freakin' desert" (as my friends who live in civilization put it) so I really have no desire to move to a different middle of a different desert. :)

I am sure somebody will snatch this job in a heartbeat. You have a very wide and capable audience here.

I thought it would... but not even a nibble as of yet.

It's been only one day. Not everybody checks the forums every day (guilty) and not everybody checks during daytime from work (guilty).
Give it time ... but if you want to move your business down to my "freaking desert", I'll fly for you. :)

There is a membership fee, but they have a job board.

Huh, never heard of that one.

I'd say those are the big ones, however I'd be surprised if you can't find someone in these boards, or just asking around the airport

And of course it always helps to provide a few more details in such postings.
I expect you don't want to disclose the hourly pay but how about your airport (and office) location? Atlanta is a big place.

I am not a commercial pilot but I did play one in a youtube video once. am I hired?

Sure, with the inevitable result of the peanut gallery chiming in on every aspect posted. Heck, it looks like even mentioning the base will draw dumb comments.

No luck on this board whatsoever. I'll just see if I can find someone through connections in the area. I'll use the other boards if I run into a dead end as I don't frequent others too often.

No fixed office. All Bonanza (V35 & A36) flying will be done out of AHN. Cirrus (occasional) out of PDK. You will make more than a flight instructor and you will be able to pay all of your bills, but you won't get rich. I'd really like to see someone based on the east side of Atlanta as that drive to Athens is brutal in the morning. I budget 90mins from my house.

Believe it or not, you'd probably more qualified than some other commercial pilots I've flown with.

What's the pay, hours of work a month and days off?

Strange. I really thought there would be plenty of coverage here. Again, give it a little more time, not all members check in daily.

Ah, so Athens, not Atlanta, that is a big difference to locals or migrants.

You will make more than a flight instructor.
So more than $30/hr? Cuz that's what they get paid here in Nuevo Kalyfornya.

For real though a month or so from now I should be a freshly minted CPL willing (and desperate)to do that kind of work. If you have a similar or the same job open back up it seems right up my alley, what would be a "realistic" resume cause I assume my 260 ish hours in cessnas and an arrow and degree probably isn't realistic .

It's a daily rate. A lot. What's a day off?

We're really looking to find a young, relatively low-time pilot who wants to get some great experience.

Is there a local college with a pilot program?

They were valid questions. No days off? On call at all times to fly? Daily rate every day whether one flies or not?
