how about a post of your best taken picture?

Not that I'm really missing being there still... And want to relive it as much as possible..

Not nearly as nice as everyone else's pictures but this was such a beautiful sunset. Pictures don't do it justice.

You guys do know that Biggles was asking for pictures from Oshkosh...right?

I think a LOT of people just view all recent posts in a big bucket, I would have missed that too.

LOL Guess I really didn't pay attention to the sub reddit forum this thread was in

That was the idea..lol.

I was expecting people who attended Osh might post a single picture (their personal favourite) to the conversation.
Mainly as I also didn't take a decent camera and took most of it by eyes only, (and a small GoPro).

But hey always appreciate a good pic anytime..

:D

That was October 2012, the last excursion before the boiler tear-down. Cool, drizzly morning, perfect for lots of condensation. Sensory overload! Video here.

Good video. I got to see and photograph that beauty in 09 when it was in Durand, MI. Met Doyle briefly. Onlookers tripled the population of the town.

Color me a 'new posts' cripple. But even before the OSH qualifier was clarified, I was thinking of posting this iPhone panorama:

Very nice photo. Not only beautiful, but tells part of the story of the event.

I'd say this one. This was my first time camping in the rain, and my first OSH. I was (of course) taking a picture of fancy tail with our tents under the wing and just drinking it all in when I spotted this low wing on final a ways out and it's then I realized, "I'm at OSH...this is where pilots really want to be." By Wednesday when we arrived, the temps had cooled considerably for sleeping and I had some of the best nights sleep. Being woken by distant lightening and rain on the tent was awesome - glad I resealed the seams. Very enjoyable experience.

Honorable mention is the honor flight for Vietnam Vets. Didn't know anything about this practice, so it was moving to see everyone (pilot/crew/handlers) proudly volunteering their vacation time to make it happen. How cool is that! I was close enough to feel the spray from the fire engines saluting them as they arrived. The second one was as we headed to Ripon from the north Wednesday morning. We'd just spent several days exploring Houghton/Copper Harbor and the UP area and knew we'd encounter some WX. We opted *not* to drive thru but stayed just left of the leading shaft, getting 77R a bath in the process.

That rain shot is crazy cool.

Yeah, I love those rain pix. Not OSH per se, but had to share. :)

My choice was hard, although I didnt take many pics I decided on this one, which is a bit of humour but also to me shows the variety ...
