Maybe in the future you could have everyone write the source on the outside of the beer. It might be neat to pick up a cold one, read it, and go "Oh look, I'm drinking from Washington State!" or something like that.

Shoot, we can't even get people to wear name tags, and you think we are gonna get them to label their beer? ;)

Besides, the labels would have to survive life in a cooler full of ice water.

Dang I really wish I was there!!

Talking to my son this am about what Jay said about the 'Dawn Patrol', and he said damn we need to be there. Then I told him that guy 6PC was there this year, and all he said (w/ a blank look) was....oh.

jk 6PC, hope you're having a blast and enjoying it.

Just a request for those of us who don't know anyone, if pics are posted tell us who they are please? For instance Steingar is there but there are two guys and a lady in the picture.

I assume the guy in the Texas flag shirt is Jay.

Jay's on the left, Steingar is on the right, Mary is in the background. And I've never physically met any of them (though I hope to someday!). Just watching pictures on the board here.

Sorry I won't be there this year.

But it dawned on me last year that the secret definition of H.O.P.S. is "Hoarding Other People's Stout". Jay's got a brilliant gig...invite a bunch of people to bring a 6-pack they can't actually finish off and BAM you've got free beer for a whole year! :)

Seriously though, Jay and family are great hosts. Have fun.

The brewers already put that on the label. :)

The girl is @steingar ! Hahahaha

(Hi Professor!!!! Lookin' forward to seeing ya!)

Hope they open parking. GAP and GAC still listed as closed and full... As of Tuesday mid-day.

Yeah, I had to park at FLD yesterday. The bus worked out O.K., but all the action is at Oshkosh. Looks like another evening of great weather.

Heading in tomorrow morn. Like Denver said I wish they would open up some parking

Parking was open in Vintage Camping, Homebuilt Camping, and Warbirds as of 1PM, when I left. There were several spots scattered around.

It's the big day! The party starts after the day airshow ends, roughly 6 PM ish.

We are in Row 516 of the North 40, snug up to the Rwy 27 flight line. Look for the big white awning and tall Texas flag!

And thanks, Grant and Leslie, for a wonderful time last night. The jambalaya and chili were, as always, fabulous!

Edit: BTW: You can see the night airshow just fine from our site.

I made it in. I see the Texas flag about 4 rows away. I'll drop off some beverages soon.

We'll make it before nightfall this time hopefully! If we can remember the quickest path from the bus Depot to the north 40, that'll be nice. The long way is a long walk!

Ride the tram past warbirds.
