I had a nice conversation yesterday with a pipeline pilot who's movin' up to the airlines. I knew they were short of pilots, but it sounds like they're having a fire sale for anyone with a couple hundred hours. Ah, to be young again.
 
From what the people we've seen hired on here have said, they are basically taking anyone with ATP mins and a multi.

But that's not taking people with a couple hundred hours.

Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I understood him to say that some of the regional carriers are paying for ATP training.

I believe they are. But you still need to meet the minimum requirements. Thats what he meant by ATP mins and an ME rating.

They are paying for the CTP course and in turn giving you a type rating/ATP if you don't have one.

A quick google search found a few.

Also, networking... find the who in your area is employed as one and buying him food in exchange for sharing info.
