POAers you have flown with / met

That was only a rumor and there was no documentation of such an event!

True. That's a shame, too. I've heard that it was WOULD HAVE BEEN pretty sweet to see.

Lets see, so far:

Now I wish I had made it to Cameron.

Met Mary, Grant, and Leslie at Oshkosh at Jay's party, but it was so dark and late by the time we made it we couldn't stay long. Jay offered us some fireball but I was in no physical state to start the terrible-memory-inducing whiskey lol. Then again, the 1835 in my glass isn't usually much better for me ;)

Who's that? You and I met, but we haven't flown together - my list was only those I've flown with.

True. I misread. That's why I deleted. But apparently not fast enough.

6PC and Brian] are the only ones.

I have much higher standards than most and I liked their answers when I said, " Asz, grass or gas....nobody rides for free."

I'll admit I got in a Grumman once.

Yes, I have flown with Eric Jensen, Greg Kainz, (I am a former member of the Colorado moutain flying Mafia) AdamZ, Gary, let's see who am I forgetting? I have met a boat laod (plane load) of others which I willl list later. ALL good folks, btw.

Met a ton of PoAers. Have only flown with Jesse and Clark. Clark likes to laugh at my VOR approaches.

The year we went to Gastons nobody was flying except a few runs around the patch by David White in White Lightning and me in the 182. And a few of us flew up to Branson. But fuel prices were outrageous that year and rides in other airplanes seemingly wasn't much on anyone's agenda.

Mikes Hard Lemonaid will deter most....... I said "Most"

I know I've flown with Witmo, Pitts Driver, and David White. Think there are some others that I flew with for tailwheel, but I'd have to look up the user names.

I've met quite a few from here. They just don't know it ;) they don't know I lurk on POA. *evil laugh!*

I need to meet more Colorado crew...

When i was a ramprat I've probably fueled ejenson without knowing it was him...

Probably did. When did you work for the FBO? I was at Downtown until it closed. Then Greeley until I could find a hangar at FNL.

All of the above obviously plus far far to many to count

I spoken with Bruce on the phone.

I've met Mari and others (lunch in Denver), Elon (dinner in Haifa) and Judy Parish (dinner in Pullman). This covers quite a range of time, too.

I haven't flown with or met anyone from POA....I would like to though, so if any of you make it out this way (KSPA) or close-by, let me know!!! I'd be very happy to fly out and meet for lunch or whatever...

I'm still having flashbacks, sitting in the corner leaning back and forth mumbling to myself...

...about how fantastic that breakfast was and how much fun I had! Haven't had any BBQ yet :p
I thought yo uwere goign to say you have been having flashbacks about meeting 6PC.

I met Mulligan once when he was working on his private. We discussed flying, Elvis, boobs, eman, etc. :D

I don't think I've met any - but I'm in Texas (Houston) now and looking for somewhere to fly this weekend (Sunday maybe). Any POAers nearby up for a meetup?

I met @gaurdrail at KDED last year. We had a nice lunch and successfully dodged all the skydivers.

John

I'll be in Dallas in 4 weeks on vacation if any of the DTO guys want to go flying. I'll buy at Beth Marie's.

Several in the NorCal group, some time back, including the lovely Kimberly. At San Carlos and Half Moon Bay. All nice folks.

The only member I've met is Overdrive148, at the Shawnee, OK airshow last year. Nice young feller.

My soul dies a little each time I hear that 6PC flies directly overhead on his way to Hidaway in Norman, OK, which is a mere 24.4 NM from my house. He could stop and pick me up, stop in for a hangar chat, drop a slice of pie out the window on his way back, anything, but noooooo, apparently non-cirrus driving Okies aren't cool enough to join him for a pizza run. No big deal though, BrYan. I'm obviously not that worried about it. If somebody laser beams you south of Norman, it wasn't me, k.

HAHA!!!! Next time I fly to HideAway, I will pick you up.
It has been about 8 months since I have been up there.
Long overdue. I love that place.

Now I'm not sure if I want you to pick me up out of pity. I'm so confused right now. ;)

He offered to fly me some refreshments of the root beer variety! Too bad I moved before that happened

Also thanks for the kudos! First person from POA I met
they backed a tug into the plane right after that. U.S. Aviation owes you some beers.
