Interviewed at Endeavor today. Really great group of people and they made me feel relaxed the entire time. Technical questions were simple, TMAAT and HR questions were straight forward as well. It was about an hour company presentation then individual interviews with one HR rep and one Captain who is leaving for DL. Interview took about 45 and I was given a CJO about 15 minutes later. CTP course is April 25th and class date is May 9th. I'm still only at 1350 and 15 multi so I'm trying to finish it off as quickly as possible. Really looking forward to the next part of my aviation career!

Thanks man! The captain who did the company presentation and interviewed me said they have openings in all planes and bases. I'm 22 so I'm going to get the bottom of the barrel. Hoping for JFK or LGA in the 900.

Congratulations!! I don't know what a CJO or a CTP is but it sounds like you got the job...

Congrats? So they offered you a job that shy of ATP mins?

Yep. They said don't worry about it. The captain that I interviewed with suggested May 9th. That's probably when I'll have my hours. He said if I get the hours in early they can squeeze me into an earlier date if there is a spot open.

Me neither. Nor a TMAAT or DL. I hate it when you guys do that. Been meaning to say something, BIKF.

CJO- conditional job offer
CTP - certification training program. New prerequisite for taking ATP written.

Conditional Job Offer

And the CTP is the pre req for a ATP written since the rule changes.

Well done. Enjoy the ride!

Awesome! I had no doubt you would be there quickly. You seem like a really sharp young man! Good luck!

Congrats. I remember the feeling and how exciting it was when I got my first airline job at 23 flying Metroliners.

These people are going to freak out once I actually get in the cockpit. They'll probably ask where the pilot is:rofl:

Next time I have a NY overnight, I'm buying the beer!

Congrats! I fly all three of the CRJ's 200, 700 and 900, for a different carrier though, great fun planes to fly! Especially the 900, the 200 is lacking in performance, doesn't have fadec and gets hot in the summer! try to get into the 9 if you can! .....but ultimately go for whichever would give you the greatest quality of life (reserve, base etc)

Yea I'm trying for the 900. We'll see what the age makeup of the class is. I probably won't have much of a choice.

Eh a lot of people don't want anything to do with NYC bases so you just might get it. Even if you don't right away, if you really want it you can keep bidding for it or swap with another pilot based there. If that's allowed at Endeavor. Also I don't know where all their bases are, maybe NYC area all they have?

Congrats!

Yeah, my guess is unless you live there it would not be first choice for many...

Also (the fun of bidding), is what would you bid for first... Equipment or base??
Remember there are likely seat locks...

I've heard that is fairly common in the current hiring scheme.

How much time did you need to have to in order to apply and do you need the full 1500 by the class date? I've seen some airlines that said you could have up to 50 hours of the 1500 in the sim, wondering if they count sim time in training toward the requirement?

I got a call with 1300TT and 11 multi. The captain said I'll need to have 1500TT by the class date. I'm not sure how much sim time I can credit towards the 1500.
