The good Doctor helped a very good friend of mine get his paper work all in order. One doctor screwed things all up. Dr. Bruce was a big help in getting it all back in order. My buddy did get an ear full. The good Doctor was not pleased at what happened to him. I don't know all the details but lets just say. Dr Bruce..You are the man.

How do you figure 25%? It's out of the Senate, in committee in the House. Granted it's not the same bill anymore that the House introduced, but the House bill has 154 cosponsors with support from both sides.
It seems members of Congress also think all pilots are rich guys ready to thrown money around.
I thought the bill was a long shot when it was introduced, but if it springs from committee in the House, I see no reason it wouldn't pass a vote and no reason it would be vetoed. As I see it, the only hurdle left is getting S.571 out of committee in the House.
As far as the rest - those how have never had to deal with the bureaucracy of the medical system don't understand it. Yet. There will come a point in every pilot's career when they will learn about it, unless they quit flying for other reasons first.

Well that makes his point of view worthless. Good grief. Now I've heard everything.
Let's expand on this a bit. Very few people have criticized what this website is doing.
Personally I don't think he's far off. Near as anyone can tell, nothing is going on with the House bill. Hasn't moved in a very long time, does not look like it is a priority. They have this year to do something with it. Once they do, then a compromise has to be negotiated with the Senate.
Then the President has to sign, or veto the bill.
All that has to happen by the end of the year. or the Bill dies and the process starts all over.
So, 25% sounds about right, when you put it in that perspective...
But, heck, it's not a government website....
