Mmmm, burgers.......

You ruined them.

So I'm finally going to get my own "Sticky", and it's going to be the THREAD FROM HELL?

:D

Thread from hell? There are more calories described in this thread than the population of India.

How would one measure the population if India calorically?

3500 calories in a pound
Let's say average Indian person comes out to 160 lbs
1.252 billion people living in India

3500 X 160 X 1.252B = 7.0112e14

Now technically, 3500 is the calories in a pound of fat so there is a margin of error. I just dont know what it is.

That sir is an estimate!

I am not a scientist, but I understand there are direct and indirect methods of calorimetry. How would one measure? Does one simply sample?

Merry Christmas everyone :)

That would certainly address the caloric content of the Indian population, and a pound of protein contains roughly the same amount of calories, so the fat vs. muscle make up of the Indian population is irrelevant within the error of estimate.

But, back to the original assertion, how many food calories are represented by this thread? You would have to make assumptions on portion sizes represented and differentiate between starch calories, which are lower per unit weight.

I believe the calorie content of this thread to be artificially low due to the use of lettuce in place of the required carbohydrate sandwich packaging.

And that is why this thread doesn't taste as good as it potentially could.

J*sus H Chr*st. Moderators, please DON'T delete, problem NOT solved!

C'mon. It's Applebee's
You should be more shocked if you don't get a body part in your salad.

Applebee's is the RadioShak of restaurants.

Yeah I guess. It isn't that bad. Beats Denny's all to hell.

You know what I want? I want the Amazon of restaurants. I want to be able to push a button on my Ipad and have a drone bring me a couple of fresh, hot burgers right to my desk.

Wrapped in argyle packaging, right?

How did autocorrect get "drone" out of "smoking hot Asian chick"?!? Weird.

More commonly soy, but I'm picky about my burgers.

Are you trying to drift this thread? That's my other biggest weakness!

You like big Asian girls filled with soy?

ummm, to each their own...

BBQ, catered by Dickey's. I wasn't impressed with the restaurant when I tried it but this was pretty good. I'll give it a pass. Brisket and chicken.

They ordered way too little meat though.
