Also interesting that he landed supposedly running on fumes, but the fuel gauges were about 3/4 full tanks.
 
The bullet holes looked like those stickers kids put on their cars!
 
Well I don't know what the producers had been "smokin" when they thought up last nights episode, but they really entered the realms of fantasy with that one.....

Honey pots......shooters.....casinos ....oh dear oh dear...:rofl:

I can't wait for next week.....:popcorn:
 
This is "Lizard Lick Towing" for airplanes.

Just embrace the ridiculousness.
 
I always explain it when people ask me is, its a show that takes stories of past repo's (true or not) and then re-creates them. So there might have been a story of a guy repo-ing a floatplane, and had to scuba in to get it. So the producers re-create that and amp up the drama to sell.

The wife loves the drama side and asks some decent questions, and I watch because I like the in air videos.
 
I saw an episode yesterday where the characters astroprojected through a door in the back of some airport diner to my airport LHZ (LHZ has a snack vending machine but that is it) while they were tracking down a helicopter for repo. There was even a shot of my Mirage parked outside of the FBO.

Obviously total fabrication but amusing. My airplane is a star :)

I swore off this show as I don't like producers thinking thinking that we are so stupid. I haven't seen it in a couple of years.

But now there's shooting and airplanes? DAMN! I think I'm going to have to pour myself a Bombay Safire on the rocks with stuffed olives, and watch an episode or two.

I hate you guys. ;)

That's gotta be worth at least $20k, though, right?:D

I did laugh out loud when they referred to it as a business executive travel plane.

Just finished this weeks.

At the end as he's descending to the runway the narrator says, "Kevin is now losing altitude at a rate that would make most pilots panic."

As if every single pilot isn't taught to do engine out landings.

OP here... Never thought my trying to let you know that there was a new aviation show on would generate a 450+ post thread:dunno:. I just love watching any aviation related shows on TV...:yes: If I can't fly I like watching others flying...:yes: The producers failure to get the facts correct is crazy, but there are planes...:goofy: So I watch it, and on some level it's entertaining...:yes:
 
I just wish they would include a disclaimer that the series is fictional, and that any resemblance to reality is purely coincidental!

It was a good year...scratch that a GREAT season considering the incredible obstacles we had to overcome. Thank you to each and every one of you for your kindness and your support. It was not unnoticed and it was appreciated more than you know."

Mike Kennedy's neighbors can now sleep -- his escaped King Cobra was captured in a woman's garage under her clothes dryer. The snake has been returned to Mike. He still has to go to court about not reporting the escape for two days.

Said she was in the garage by the dryer and heard a "hissing" sound. Knowing about the escape, I'm sure she thought SNAKE. Said she really wasn't surprised when it turned up but glad she found it before it bit someone. Called wildlife management and they came and captured it. Really cool about the whole thing but then living in FL as I did for 19 yrs you get use to snakes. I'm actually surprised Mike got the snake back with his court date pending. Snake was probably glad to go back home, too. Regular meals, safe environment, etc.

I don't care how staged it is. It's a flying show on TV. Speaking of which, is Air Pressure even still airing?

Being ****ed doesn't generally give rise to a cause of action. :no: Now, if she'd just have let it bite her, she'd be rich....:yikes:
