GXT 330 and ADS-B out

We are upgrading our GXT330 to the GXT330-ES in order to have ADS-B out. I'm guessing (hoping) the shop doing the work knows, but do the settings in it have to be a certain way to make the towers send info to the plane for traffic that a Stratus2 will show? i.e some setting to trigger the tower to send that info.

And we JUST had our GTX330 upgraded to "ES"... I completely forgot to ask about this setting so we can get traffic on the Stratus.

You need to set 1090-IN to ENABLE and UAT-IN to ENABLE. That will trigger the ground towers to respond with full TIS-B traffic, will you see on your stratus or other ADS-B devices. If those are not enabled, the system will assume you don't have any ADS-B in devices and not waste it's time transmitting the data.
