Ed,

Please sell this airplane soon, as it is taking up a tab in every browser on every device that I have.

I can't bring myself to close the tabs because I am secretly stashing $5 a week to save to buy the plane. It might take me a while to get enough, but I'll get there.

I want this airplane.

Sigh.
Roddie.

Give in.

It's nicer in person, and it ain't bad in pictures.

Updates:

I just had 1 cylinder replaced, and the other 5 re-done.
Compressions are now
#1 73/80
#2 73/80
#3 72/80
#4 72/80
#5 72/80
#6 78/80

While we had the cylinders out, we inspected the crank and camshafts and the A&P said they were in "perfect" condition. Less wear than expected, no pitting/corrosion or anything.

I just had the 2 year transponder/static check done 2 weeks ago, and the annual keeps it flying until March 31, 2014. The only thing that needs to be done to it, is within 70 hours the Stabilator Horn Inspection AD.

I put $7k plus into it at annual this year, but since I won't be using it to head back and forth to the cabin anymore...

First $50k takes it.

Kinda mad at myself I didn't ask for a tour and ride when I met you at Gaston's.

Man, I wish I had $50K. That's a great plane for that money and I'm feeling the itch to fly something more interesting than a skyhawk.

They make these things called bank loans....

Actually, I could probably seller finance it.

This is a question that I'm really going to regret asking (and my wife will kill me): How motivated are you to sell and finance it?

The seller financing, after talking with a lawyer, is only something I would probably be willing to do with someone I knew.

Makes sense -- What are you doing for dinner tonight?

I kid. The plane is still a dream for me, however I'm considering trying to get a partnership together once I build some more hours.

I heard there was a dude that owns an auto salvage yard looking around for a plane too.

Yeah, he's the one that keeps teasing me about this one on the local boards.

Step one is trying to get my wife to go back to work so I can fly more, step two is getting my son to quick hockey. :D
