"The author is a master at weaving intricate detail among the unbelievable tales she tells. This is a story of great will, determination, dreams, personality, humor, tragedy, ego, skill, life and gratitude. This is a story that will stay with me forever."

This is a book you will never forget. There are those in this world who refuse to allow hard times to stop them. This is a story of a young man who beats one bad turn after another. He is the definition of a survivor. This tale will tug at your heart, then break it, then build it back up to bursting. A great story that plays like a movie in your mind as you read it. Incredibly well written.

I'm an Amazon Prime member (Yeah, I know pretty special)... I can borrow for free? You get a cut off that? Was gunna buy it otherwise.

Congratulations Brian.

Those reviews are prized in the 'Amazon world'. Well done!

Cheers,

The flight & interview with Channel 7 KETV Omaha went well. I kept the flight pretty short since all he was interested in was seeing how I fly the airplane which only took about .5 tach hours. It was just bumpy enough to make it difficult for him to shoot STEADY video... All in all it went well including the 3 hour interview portion. They may make it into a 30 minute special.

Latest word, it will air Sunday at 10:00pm.

KETV, digital channel 20 (virtual channel 7 and cable channel 9),

Just read it and it was a great read. It goes to show you just how fragile life is and how the human body and spirit can overcome and adapt. After reading the book I feel as though I know you and your family. What a tight bond! Stay strong and keep flying!

Currently sitting at twelve 5-star reviews! Today is the last day you can get your very own ebook of Modified Flight Plan for FREE!

Great book. Read it when I was out to eat. Got embarrased when I started crying reading it though. Oy! Anyone want my copy? I'll mail it for free to anyone on here. (Also posting on Jesse posting first PM wins - when you PM be sure to send your address in the PM)

September is ITP awareness month.

In general Immune Thrombocytopenia is an autoimmune disease where the body marks blood cells called platelets, vital for blood clotting, as foreign invaders and kills them. Many patients spontaneously recover after a one-time platelet count crash and others fight it for years with steroids and even chemotherapies.

About 70% of ITP patients are women, and you can imagine the dangers of carrying a baby and bleeding caused by ITP.

I fought it for over 20 years with everything available through my childhood, high school and college years and even managed to get a private pilot certificate between the platelet count crashes.

I dedicated my life to beat ITP as it always had a way of ruining my plans. In 2009 I nearly lost my life arguably in part due to a treatment for ITP I made years earlier in high school.

Just sending off to the FAA another current status letter with an complete blood count as evidence of another year passing by without a bark from the bulldog that used to haunt me marking 5 years without issues. Hopefully someday the FAA gets tired of reading these and issues me a regular third class.

We are up to 50 reviews of Modified Flight Plan, and to kick off ITP awareness month, the Kindle version is available at $2.99.
