So sorry to hear this.

I never met him, but enjoyed reading about his adventures. No one has ever squeezed more fun out of a Mouse.

My condolences to "The Redhead" and all that knew him.

R.I.P. Bo.

Peace at last...

Like the Memorial Day poem says, "for those who fought for peace, and found it..."

I only knew Bo from his POA postings and as it appears from those posts that he fought a good fight, it is my sincere hope that his reward is eternal rest.

I'm sorry to hear this. I only knew him through his posts on POA, but he seemed like one of the good ones. RIP. I hate cancer.

My condolences to his family :( :( Reading his posts I was always hoping it wouldn't happen like this :( :(

He did what he could do . . . which is all any of us can expect of ourselves or others.

RIP 'Old Man' . . .. Peace to his friends and family for knowing him

Blessings to the family friends and loved ones...no more suffering! Another angel to look after us as we enjoy what he has for so many years.

My condolences to all who knew him. I only have seen some of his most recent posts in the last few months detailing his fight with cancer. I'm sad that he is gone, and wish him eternal peace after this battle.

I was so hoping he was going to beat this. Cancer is such a nasty illness. Condolences to all that knew him and especially his family.

It's sad that he never found a new server to keep his "Old Man's Journal" alive. It should be required reading for anyone thinking "why should I buy my own airplane?".

I never met Bo, yet Im fighting back tears typing this. Bo fought the good fight against the most terrible and evil disease on the planet - and he cared enough about us to keep us posted along the way. Rest in peace, friend.

Bo was exactly the kind of good guy we are so lucky to meet through flying. I will miss him, and his irrepressible spirit.

Fair winds, good friend.

Will miss his smile, stories and indomitable spirit. It's "black ribbon" time on POA again... farewell, Bo.

If anybody wants to send Sandra a card, PM me and I'll share their address. I'm sure she'd be touched...

Ahhh crud :( I recall being e mourned with his blog when it started on the old AOPA board. It was the first aviation blog I read.

Sounds like "Old man" "Bo Boggs might be worthy of a "Gone West" sticky or some sort of a tribute thread where he and others can live on through their words and our musings. What say you, Moderators? :dunno:

Rest in Peace, Old man. You obviously inspired many.

Watch this space...

I believe Bo's last flight was from Mustang Island.

It is so sad to watch the great aviators leave us. So much wisdom experience, insight and amazing stories slip away...

R.I.P. Bo!

Well crap. Bo was one of the good guys, a true gentleman. Will miss him and his stories. We did a toast to Bo tonight at the Wings pre-dinner.

RIP and tailwinds.

I met Bo and Red at Cedar Mills Marina airport several years ago when Diana and Barb made good on their promise to come hang out with the Texas folks.

I didn't know about his blog at the time but found them both to be delightful company as we watched the gals land, walked to the restaurant for lunch and then returned to watch the departure. It didn't take long to know that they were good people and great ambassadors for GA.

Tailwinds, Bo.

That was very nice...... Mary and I both said that flight was for Bo as we were on short final last night into OXB. The first day flying 08R after just two landings he got on the radio and asked me to land it and taxi clear before halfway at T31. I could hear him all over again and as he asked then I planted one in a stiff crosswind yesterday and taxied clear. He would have liked it.

Knew of him from here. Rest In Peace, and condolences to family and friends.

That was an enjoyable afternoon with Bo and Sandra. I still have those video clips that he shot of us taking off.

When I was visiting Dallas several years ago, I met Bo and Sandra at their hangar and he showed me his "mouse" and they shared stories of their flying adventures. He loved that airplane.

Condolences to Sandra, and to his friends and family. He was a good man and a great ambassador for aviation.

Speaking of Bo's Mouse.... he was trying to sell it to a young couple when Spike and I visited with him a few weeks ago. Sandra told us the sale fell through. So if anybody here is interested in Bo's Mouse, let me or Spike know, and we can help you get in touch with Sandra.

Please call me about this... Me and TexasAg93 were trying to make a connection with him to look at it.

Thank you for everything, Bo. I'll miss you!

Does Bo get one of the black ribbon avatars like many of our past members that have flown west?
