SW-Ohio/MI/IN/Everyone Gathering

Sunday looks better for me. Saturday says midday scud running for the west side of the state.
 
Can we all plan on Sunday, Noon EDT at MIE?

Yes, they appreciate the heads up. I called them last week and told them, most were not coming. Do you have a round a bout number of those coming?

I might have a total of 4. It may be in 1 or 2 planes
I thought Grant and Leslie were in. Also possibly "the other Liz" in her RV.

Benadryl used to work to put my kids asleep in long flights. Maybe I should have tried the Crown and Coke. I could bring some Gentleman Jack for your return trip.

Sorry about the CDT/EDT mix up. Yes, 1800Z or 1:00 PM sounds great. I will probably have the whole family(4 ea) with me in our red/white RV-10.

We thought about it, but probably won't. It's hard traveling with a 3 month old, and actually short trips are harder than long.
 
Been ther done that and have scars to prove it. Took two in diapers to Wilmington NC once in a 180 Cherokee.

Yeah, our trip to Nebraska was pretty easy, and I think our trip to Newfoundland will be similarly simple. However the one time we flew to Grimes for lunch... that was a pain.

I'm actually going to see if a CFI is willing to go up with me in the morning in the 15G25. I think if it is 20G32 (which it might be), not even a CFI will go with me =)
 
The wind is forecast to be 25G35KT here. If that turns out to be, of course it will be a showstopper for me too... :(

If you can handle 8-9 AM winds, they will decrease through the day. If it is too strong in the AM, then see if he can go up when they get down to a more comfortable level. Your CFI may want to join us for lunch.
 
20G32 isn't that bad when it's close to down the runway :dunno: Just carry some extra speed on final for the women and children.

Fantastic, Glad I stopped by the hanger today the battery was down a bit. I see a new one in my immediate future.

Depends on the CFI. This CFI would - 20G32 isn't a big deal.

Liz, I think you're right! We'll go next for "anywhere but close to home." Plus I really don't know how to fly less than 300 nm! :)
