Nui Ba Ben, Tay Ninh RVN circa Feb of '73. We'd stage out of there and fly north to recon along the Cambodian border. This was near the end of the way. Best, Dave

Departing KRCM. Nothing special, but I like the angle and new perspective:

Courtesy of Sporty's (I think). Absolutely love the angle:

Don't have a source for this one, but I absolutely love it. I find myself staring at it when I need to get away from things for a while:

How do you get these photos to appear full size in the post? Do they have to be hosted by anther site?

Photo is a little fall color shot...East of Pittsburgh

Two ways.

If it is sitting on your computer, you can attach it like you did, preview the post and copy the URL for the attachment then paste the URL into popup from "insert picture". I think you can then delete the attachment.

But your original attachment comes out huge when you do that.

If it's someplace like Picassa or Flikr or whatever, you need to find the link to the actual picture (somthing like
googleusercontent.com/-DlalXzGZY2s/TGr8W7aaCZI/AAAAAAAAAiI/eKvb0ZTvQVE/s400/SAM_0424.JPG)
and paste that in.
What works for me in Picassa is to check "Image only (no link)
", select the size, and copy what is in the imbed image box.

Thanks. I'll give it a try.

No chance to take pics lately having been working on my Instrument Rating. :dunno:

Any rule on posting older pics?

First time my wife went flying GA, about a week after I get my certificate. Her head was the best place for the GoPro.

Summer of 1969, I had just started to take flying lessons when a tornado passed through and put all my plans on hold.

The plane was rebuilt however and I did eventually learn to fly in it. In fact it's still on the register, up in Kirkland WA.

Did my first night bay tour recently, these are the best shots. I will say this Angel Island is "DARK" at night:

This was taken from the helicopter on a training mission last week. The water in the foreground is the inter-coastal waterway.

Flying home from KTRI a couple weeks ago. Saw the sun setting on the left wing then saw that the moon was rising on the right wing at the same time. Smooth flight at 6500 msl

^Wow that looks fun!

I went for a short flight to KPIM Pine Mountain, GA. Nice little airport with interesting foothills to the east and south of the field.
