Affordable warbird

OK, if you buy this, can you please fly it to Gastons, and can I have a ride?!

$149K, one-of-a-kind gem. Guaranteed this would turn heads anywhere it goes...

Neat bird. It sort of looks like a slimmed down version of a Beech 18.

Edit: I decided to Google it...

A lot of those Dutch pilots are still in Jackson, MS, in the cemetery off the end of rwy 16 at HKS. Their peers make a pilgrimage every few years to the gravesites.

Re: Affordable warbird

FWIW, I've never like the looks of the PT19. I like just about every plane out there, even the Bolton Paul Defiant. I just never warmed up to the PT19.

Nice flying old aircraft, it's got that solid feel of a wooden wing. and the smooth running old ranger 200. But without cockpit canopies it is a sunny day aircraft.
