- My wife, Mary, and I own the Alexis Park Inn & Suites, the aviation theme-suite hotel in Iowa City, IA, and the Harbor Inn, a soon-to-be aviation themed motel on Mustang Island, TX. We get the fun of meeting and hanging out with pilots from all over the world every day -- which means going to work is, well, just like vacation! Our son is a pilot also, and our daughter will no-doubt follow in his footsteps. We own two aircraft, a '74 Piper Pathfinder (called "Atlas", cuz he can lift anything) and a '48 Ercoupe that we own with two partners.
