Multi engine time in AirCam aircraft?

That’s primarily the reason for asking this question. I don’t want any gray area or anything that could be shady ever come up in an interview. What do you recommend? Just write in the remarks section that I was sole manipulator?

Multi engine time in AirCam aircraft?

So I found the letter of interpretation so I can LOG it, I just can’t ACT as it. That being said, my logbook says “AS PILOT IN COMMAND (INCL SOLO)” How do I differentiate ACT vs LOG PIC in my logbook? Remarks? And does it count toward my total PIC? Sorry for the confusion.

Multi engine time in AirCam aircraft?

I do not have my tailwheel endorsement and this particular AirCam is tailwheel. That said, because I am rated for multi engine, I should be able to log sole manipulator once in the air and that will count toward my total multi engine PIC time, right? I don’t want to do anything that could look...

Multi engine time in AirCam aircraft?

Hi, I recently had a friend invite me to fly his AirCam with him. It is obviously an experimental, but is a twin engine airplane. I am rated for multi engine aircraft and I’m working toward getting time for the airlines. Will time in this AirCam qualify appropriately toward the 50 hours needed...

Do airlines or employers care what kind of logbook I have?

Understand. I just want to make sure I present myself as best as I can. I have not used more than one line and tried to fit more than I probably should on a single remarks box, but overall I’d say it’s legible. Hopefully that will not hinder me, but I will remember that going forward.

Do airlines or employers care what kind of logbook I have?

How well it's kept in what way? I try to write as neatly as possible, but the remarks are very small so sometimes it can look like chicken scratch until you really look at it, if I write a lot of detail.

Do airlines or employers care what kind of logbook I have?

I’m going to risk looking silly again and ask whether or not my logbook will have any impact on my potential for employment with the airlines or corporate gigs. I’ve noticed a lot of CFI’s and Commercial pilots use the big Jeppesen Professional Pilot logbook. I just have the little basic...

    CHT’s and EGT’s skyrocketing randomly

Thank you, so in other words, it’s false indications? I was hoping to fly the airplane tomorrow but don’t want to burn up my engine. That said, again, I don’t see how the work performed would’ve affected engine temps, so my gut tells me it’s just bad readings from the probes.

    CHT’s and EGT’s skyrocketing randomly

I don’t, I’d have to watch the engine analyzer. My thing is, how could they have gotten dirty or how could anything have realistically changed with the work that was completed? It was perfectly fine when it went in.

    CHT’s and EGT’s skyrocketing randomly

I fly a Cherokee 180 and all was fine. We took it in for a routine oil change, spark plug cleaning and rotation. The mechanic replaced an EGT sensor on cyl #3 and two spark plugs. I took it out for a test flight yesterday and now, the CHT’s are reading 400f-500f all of a sudden. I’m thinking it...

    Multi- Engine Time

So I’m working on my CMEL now. Once I get the rating, what are my options to get multi time? I guess my question is, how are people getting the 25-50hrs for the airlines? Paying for dual time? It seems difficult. I hate how there are these requirements of x number of hours but there’s very...

Enough jobs for the student pilot population?

I am not terribly worried about becoming a wide body captain. I am very content settling for major airline FO. I also have a day job that I’m content with, so if I have to continue working in my career now for a while longer that’s OK and I’m fortunate in that regard. I understand as well that...

Enough jobs for the student pilot population?

As I’ve mentioned previously, I’m hustling as quick as I can to that 1500hr mark with the proper ratings to boot. As I browse the internet and visit other airports, I start realizing just how many are chugging along the same path. Seems like everyone and their mother are trying to reach the...

    Using Old Logbook for Endorsements?

I am just about to get started on Multi Engine Commercial and then proceed to CFI, as I keep pushing toward becoming a pro-pilot. I am currently on logbook #2 and unfortunately, when I bought the one I have now (Jeppesen) I didn't realize that it's really tailored for initial student pilots, as...
