Spruce only bought distribution. WagAero retains the manufacturing.

    Is Boeing flight test over.

As a former Boeing employee & former contractor at both LockMart & ULA - ULA is a joint venture but only at the upper mgt is there overlap. Wearing a ULA badge? Lots of places at LockMart & Boeing where you are not welcomed with open arms, and vice-versa. Legacy Boeing was never a rocket player...

    (Fly-in?) KSAA Shively Field Wyoming

There used to be a french bakery that made the best croissants. Never could figure out how, with the altitude. Hope it's still there. Colorado Pilots Assoc did a flyin there a number of years ago.

Any rules against what you put as your flight ID?

USAFA (Air Force Academy) use Tiger for zoomies that have solo'd. It's both a radio id and transponder, e.g. TG47 is flying around KPUB right now.

[NA] Is AI going to end actual musicians?

What's interesting is all these AI music apps have copyright disclaimers/ownership proudly displayed on the front page. Everything generated is theirs - but if you're willing to pay, they'll transfer the copyrights to you.

[NA] Is AI going to end actual musicians?

Aiva, Soundraw, Soundful, it goes on and on. My freshman computer science class just finished "create a music video" using any of the music AI apps and any of the video AI apps (e.g. NightCafe) and present to the class. Then teams of 2 for Debate Camp - one pro, one against what they just saw...

Passing Medical with past drug addiction.

If you were as busy as Dr B yet still trying to help the aviation community, you’d be just as abrupt. Some of us have met him in person, and profressionally…he’s really very nice. When he’s not trying to get an idea thru some’s thick skull.

    High Altitude Flight test

Climb will be slow, so having company to chat with keeps you from being bored.

    Best aviation organizations

Is there a state pilots organization, such as Colorado Pilots Assoc or New Mexico Pilots Assoc? Out here, bothnrun the mountain flying courses, advocate at the state house, flyins, career days at schools, etc. Right now Colorado Pilots Assoc is leading the charge (with 99s, WAI, the Colorado...

    Second GPS Unit

There are 2 possible failures - the first, GPS system fail means it doesn't matter is you have another GPS unit (certified or tablet), nothing will work. The second is a failure of the unit itself, which is possible but very rare. I'd go with a garmin 175 as the backup, and the 650 as the...

The new stuff is kinda mind boggling!

Join the local EAA chapter, ask the members to give you tours of their aircraft and why they chose the panel & what they would change if they had the option. Because you're going Experimental, much of the Garmin & Dynon stuff is substantially cheaper than what the Other Side (like me) have to...
