    E/AB final weight?

Geez, the Delfleet paint job on my fabric aircraft probably weighs at least twice as much, since multiple coats of high fill primer are used to fill the weave and protect from UV.

    E/AB final weight?

I just bought an EarthX TSO battery for my certified aircraft. If I was EAB, I would be all over that. 17 pounds weight savings over a Concorde RG-25. How much does the paint weigh on a typical aircraft?

Piper Warrior budget Waas Gps advice

Kinda puzzling to me that the panel mount GPS market is so constrained, with only 2 vendors. In particular, I wonder why Dynon does not offer one.

    Pocket knife: Weird or normal?

Here is another military supply system favorite. Automatic knife. I was told it was a parachutists knife, with one-hand opening and serrated edge to cut shroud lines if tangled up and hanging on something. But I never saw them issued or carried during actual jump operations. Not convenient...

    trouble light, work light

Most of the rechargeable tool families (Dewalt, Rigid, Ryobi, Cobalt, Makita, Milwaukee, Craftsman, etc) have multiple variations of work lights. Once you are invested in batteries and chargers, it makes sense to stick with whatever brand you are bought into. I keep at least a dozen Ryobi 18v...

    Military Helo Rotorwash

They go by Academi now. Their heyday is long past, and they have largely evolved into static security. However, their range facility at Moyock is the best on the east coast, so the SEAL teams and MARSOC use it extensively.

    Wag-Aero's Demise

Private equity companies buy smaller companies and help them grow into bigger companies. I've seen it personally. You're just parroting ideological babble.

    Pocket knife: Weird or normal?

Nobody is jumping in with the answer, so I'll provide it. It is a demo knife, designed for working with explosives. Blade is for cutting C4, det cord, and time fuse. Awl is for making blasting cap recesses in C4 and dynamite. Screwdriver useful for prying open wooden crates of explosives...
