It worth noting that GPS heading is not necessarily the same as magnetic heading, and if ATC gives you a heading, pretty sure they expect magnetic heading. I have my AV30's set up with GPS input, but also added the magnetometer, as the GPS heading is off enough in winds to make a difference...

First thing I'd do is verify that the sender (if electrical) and gauge are good, and reading accurately. From there, oil pressure problems can be a bunch of things. Is the engine all of a sudden making metal? What's in the oil filter/screen? Any bearing material?

I've been very happy with my Aithre Shield. I have the older version, rechargeable. Had an exhaust leak, and knew it very quickly!

You should have a POH supplement in the plane that explains just about everything a pilot needs to know about your AV-30's. If you do not have the supplement, the install was not actually complete, as that POH supplement is considered mandatory for airworthiness. Nonetheless, the uAvionix...
