    Boeing’s on a streak...

This will get the attention of upper mgmt. I wonder what statutes of limitation are in play, and how the previous agreement relates to that. https://www.oann.com/business/us-says-boeing-breached-2021-737-max-criminal-prosecution-deal/

    Military Helo Rotorwash

Your story seems incomplete ... what communications did you have with the military crew? Did you broadcast you position and intentions, and what was their response?

Under insured and sweating a little bit..

Are you an AOPA member, and did you pay for the legal insurance? If so, it's free to talk to a lawyer specializing in aviation-related issues about this. Just call up the AOPA and they'll put you in touch with one. Will it help? I don't know, but it may give you some peace of mind.

Picturesque sunset beach landing on Long Island

The photo is more than instagram-ready, it's actually a frame-grab from the instagram video which I downloaded. :) I picked a frame that seemed particularly nice. To me it seemed like a fine landing, and the pilot did a great job of keeping the nose wheel up as long as possible before it...

    Final out on N928JP

Two things in the NTSB report that I don't believe were widely discussed in public are that flaps were found retracted at the scene, and the analysis showing that the "agglomerate stack" may not have been visible above the instrument panel. No surprise the pilot was faulted for descending...

Thanks, I was just about to post that exact quote... Gryder may still have some legal exposure here, either civil or criminal but I'm no lawyer so who knows?

    Final out on N928JP

Hoo boy...Gryder is featured in the NTSB report, regarding the red beacon light he stole during his trip to the accident site: "The agglomerate stack warning light was stolen following the accident, so an accurate determination of its operating status could not be made."

    Final out on N928JP

Think a lot of folks have been waiting for this one. I haven't read it yet. I know that Gryder's reporting on this caused more than a kerfuffel or two. https://data.ntsb.gov/carol-repgen/api/Aviation/ReportMain/GenerateNewestReport/104938/pdf

Are FAA part 121 ground incidents on the rise?

Seems like reports of ground incidents -- towing mishaps and vehicles vs aircraft -- are on the rise lately. Is this truly an increase in the rate of such events, or are these just getting more attention now? hhttps://twitter.com/aviationbrk/status/1779977797944951047

Delta pilot caught boozing the preflight
