Handheld transceiver recommendations? Icom, Yaesu, or Sporty's?

I have both a Yaesu 750 and a Sporty's PJ-2. I am a huge Yaesu fan. All my ham radios are Yaesu. Downsides are complicated and separate headset adapter. I have already misplaced the cover for the headset adapter. GPS is not that usable as there is no database. Sporty's is simple to use...

    How accurate are garmin avionics?

Did you set your altimeter to 29.92 for pressure altitude to set the TAS ring??????

    How accurate are garmin avionics?

Uuh, do mean IAS? TAS is calculated from IAS and temp and pressure altitude. Some steam gauge air speed indicators have a scale that can be set to read TAS, but many forget that you need to set your altimeter to 29.92 to get pressure altitude to set that scale.

    Old enforcement records?

Hmm, you just admitted it on an open Hmm, you just admitted it on an open forum. So, if you have a mishap and it comes up, your insurance can found null and void. If it is that long ago, it is likely to make little impact on your rates. I would report it.

Dead Battery or just a weak pulse...

Many plane batteries are AGM these days, so much less likely than a flooded cell to explode. But that also means you should not use a standard auto type charger on them. Spend the money and get the proper Battery Minder for your battery.

    Paint

If the paint on the upper surfaces are faded and chalky, you might want to try paint correction (buffing) first.

Training has stalled. Advice sought. What would you do in my position?

Primary in a TW isa very good thing. But you have to convince the students. But first, you need to run the numbers. Check on insurance cost for a low time TW pilot. Be sitting down when you read the quotes. Then ask for insurance to include instructing. And if you are doing primary, then...

    THC and Delta 9 drinks

I did a LOT of international travel for my job (visited 154 countries). Beer, wine and sodas are safe to drink. Water, even bottled water may not be. At one place I was talking with the medical professional. When I mentioned water purity, he showed me is aquarium. It was a 1.4 liter bottle...

Aspen 1000 Pro or Dual G5s

IIRC, with two G-5s you can get rid of the vacuum system and the round gauges. Aspen 1000 you need a backup attitude indicator as a minimum. I am not sure about the other round dials. My plane came with an Aspen 1000 Pro. It is nice. And I considered upgrading to 2000 Pro MAX. Nice price...

Also, what is your mission? $100 burger on a CAVU day, uncontrolled fields. Not a huge worry. Especially if the plane can be proped. Launch into solid IMC? NOPE. I want a battery that I know will get me on the ground in case of alternator and/or vacuum failure. FYI, I leave my beacon...
