I had a lead acid battery mower - that was heavy. New one has a lithium battery. Not heavy. (Old one ran over a "cute" iron thing hidden in high grass - shattered the magnet in the motor.)

How big a lawn? I have a 40V Black and Decker mower and blower - it's nice to be able to interchange batteries - in the fall the battery in the blower can run out before the leaves are all moved. For normal summer mowing I barely use 1/4 of the battery on my postage stamp size lawn.
